Back in Venice for his father’s funeral, Mattia learns that the family fishing cooperative is close to collapse, undermined by the illegal practices of rival fishermen. Unwilling to let his father’s legacy disappear, he chooses to stay, risking the life he built beyond the lagoon and becoming increasingly entangled in the murky conflicts of Venice’s fishing world.
